Very even stats until you get to turnovers. Denver made four extra two-point shots because of fewer wasted possessions and a slightly better shooting percentage. Though it’s a small sample size, there has been a tendency so far for Denver to really struggle at super-slow tempo’s. Utah’s three victories came at speeds of 87.6, 91.3, and 91.2. Denver’s regulation tie (OT win) and tonight’s victory were up higher at 94.9 and 95. Utah will likely focus on patience and ball protection in Game Six.

Free Throws: Dallas 23/33, Clippers 26/34

After watching the Lakers’ stars lift their game in recent days, the Clippers came out breathing fire Tuesday night. This looked just like Lakers/Blazers, but with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George playing the roles of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Clippers soared to a 76-52 halftime lead (similar to the 80-51 edge for the Lakers Monday). Then they won the second half 78-59. Leonard would finish with 32 points in 30 minutes, George with 35 in 25. Kristaps Porzingis was unable to suit up for the Mavs. Luka Doncic saved his energy knowing Dallas must win games six and seven to keep its season alive.
